Analyst
Metron Aviation is currently looking for several Analysts who will conduct a variety of engineering tasks related to the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Successful candidates will apply mathematical theories and techniques to perform analyses, diagnose problems and develop improvements to procedures, concepts and system designs that ultimately lead to enhanced system performance.

Responsibilities:
•Analysis of air traffic management and air transportation systems and procedures
• Creation and refinement of concepts, requirements and algorithms for modeling of the National Airspace System and/or international airspace environments
• Development of impact and benefits studies, including sensitivity analyses
• Data collection and analysis
• On-site support at client sites, including operational and tool troubleshooting and technical support

Qualifications:
•Bachelors or advanced degrees in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, or related disciplines
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Simulation modeling and optimization skills are beneficial
• Ability to work in teams
• Self-motivated, highly creative, and innovative
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytical and/or statistical tools and software packages
•US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Software Engineer -JAVA
Metron Aviation is seeking Software Developers with a BA/BS degree and at least 3 years experience in developing Java applications. Experience with Java required; familiarity with J2EE standards, especially EJB, JMS, JSP, and servlets a plus. Must have prior working experience in and be comfortable with a fast-paced, team development environment. Solid communication skills and an ability to be flexible are a must. Candidate must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities:
•Work within a team environment to produce quality software
•Design and develop software according to requirements and project deadlines
•Learn new technologies continuously and apply as appropriate to the design and development of software projects
•Communicate effectively with team members, internal clients, and external clients regarding project goals/status, project support, and technology capabilities
•Develop aviation domain knowledge continuously to further knowledge across the company and to add insight on projects
