CDM Tools such as FSM, FSA, POET, and RMT have been
used operationally at both the FAA and airline facilities
and have provided NAS users with significant benefits.
The successful deployment of these tools relies
heavily on user training and concise documentation
for the FAA, air carriers, and General Aviation
customers. Metron Aviation provides thorough classroom
training, Computer Based Instruction (CBI), and
documentation to educate and support participants
on CDM tools. In addition, Metron Aviation has developed
a Simulation Environment, Jupiter, which provides
the capability to simulate real-time GDP, AFP, and
GS scenarios and allows for the flexibility needed
in a training environment. With the help of the
Jupiter simulation environment, Metron Aviation’s
realistic and hands-on training approach has become
a signature piece of FSM training sessions.

Metron Aviation’s in-house tool development,
documentation, and training courses give our staff
an in-depth knowledge of the software tools. Our
documentation staff follows the development of new
software capabilities closely, which is reflected
in the production of our User Guides and training
materials. Metron Aviation is known for excellent
hands-on training, software and domain knowledge.
Our staff works closely with both the FAA and airlines,
which provides insight into user’s requests
and concerns. Client feedback is reported to the
software tools’ development team, which in
turn provides an important link between the users,
the tools’ continued enhancements, and documentation
and training updates. To learn more about CDM Training
