software products. Recent analytical work has been
in the field of Departure/Arrival Compliance Reporting,
Delay Predictability, Slot Utilization, Schedule
Impact on Airport Delays, ETA Accuracy, Arrival
Fix Loads, and Unused Slots in GDPs.
The most widely used Metron Aviation
commercial software product is the , an advanced substitution
tool for flights involved in Ground Delay Programs.
Used by many of the major US air carriers, ESM
features a flexible display that can be customized
for an airline's operational use. ESM is capable
of importing and exporting airline data, prioritizing
and optimizing flights, sending FAA messages, scenario
building, and restricting changes to flights grouped
by sub carrier, departure airport, or other criteria.
Future enhancements include Slot Credit Substitutions,
Downstream Disruption, Importing/Exporting solutions,
and use of Local Line-of-Flight Data and Crew Connections.
Flexibility allows Metron Aviation
to provide to airline operations personnel
both on-site in a high tech environment, and off-site
at client facilities. Interactive classroom settings,
