David Ellison
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ellison brings over 25 years of technology and leadership experience to Metron Aviation, having held board, advisory, C-level and other senior executive positions. He has extensive experience in all facets of business operations including research and development, sales, marketing, customer support and international operations.
Prior to joining Metron Aviation, Mr. Ellison was President and CEO of Era Corporation, a leading provider of next-generation surveillance technologies for air traffic management, airport management and military organizations. At Era, Mr. Ellison was responsible for providing vision, leadership, and strategic direction as the company grew to serve over 130 customers in over 35 countries around the world.
Mr. Ellison’s previous leadership positions also include Senior Vice President of Product Development for CA, President of iLumin Software Services and Chief Information Officer for Primark Corporation. Mr. Ellison holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Computer Information Systems from George Mason University.
