Mr. Fujisaki provides strategic advisory services to advance Metron Aviation’s position as a world-class innovator in air transportation systems. Mr. Fujisaki also serves as the Program Manager for our Traffic Flow Management (TFM) Concept Engineering and Development contract with the Federal Aviation Administration and has been an active contributor to the advancement of NextGen, most recently through the RTCA NextGen Implementation Task Force (TF5). TF5 provided recommendations to the FAA for mid-term (to 2018) implementation priorities for NextGen.

Mr. Fujisaki's career spans over 25 years with the FAA, where he served as Vice President for Operations Planning in the Air Traffic Organization (ATO). In this role he led the FAA Operations Planning organization’s broad spectrum of programs, including strategic business planning, performance analysis, systems engineering, the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center, research and development, technology demonstrations, the Operational Evolution Program (OEP), and ATO international relations. He contributed to harmonized air traffic management systems through his work with ICAO, EUROCONTROL, and numerous other international organizations. In the early 1990s, he brought the FAA and airline industry together and fostered fundamental changes to the Traffic Flow Management (TFM) system that led to Collaborative Decision-making (CDM). In 1996, he led the creation of the FAA's Center of Excellence for Aviation Operations Research, known as NEXTOR, a consortium of UC Berkeley, MIT, University of Maryland, Virginia Tech and George Mason University.

 Mr. Fujisaki received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from California Polytechnic, completed master’s course work in industrial engineering from Texas A&M and received a graduate certification in Public Administration from the American University.
