Analyzer (RT-FSA) is a web-based analysis tool developed
by Metron Aviation to assess the performance of
ground stops (GS), ground delay programs (GDPs),
and airspace flow programs (AFPs) in real-time.
RT-FSA is also available to all FAA facilities and
NAS Users. The Performance Report indicates whether
the AFP or GDP is delivering the requested rate
and if not, indicates why the rate is not being
achieved. The Compliance Report allows FAA personnel
to monitor departure and arrival compliance with
assigned control times as well as reasons for non-compliance.
Additional reports identify data quality problems
that may negatively impact program performance.
Drill-down features on these reports allow the user
to interactively query the underlying database for
additional flight information. Reports are updated
every five minutes as new flight data is received.
RT-FSA also provides users with the capability to
query the underlining database to view all the flight
data received through the aggregate demand lists
(ADLs) for any flight in a GDP.
FSA was
initially deployed at the ATCSCC in April 2001,
and is part of the ETMS suite of applications.
Future enhancements could include more active
reporting on the health of the initiative as
well as recommended actions based on analysis
of current trends.
