Industry Experts Collaborate on Assisting the FAA in Achieving NextGen Goals

Industry experts gathered on February 16th, 2010 at Metron Aviation’s George Mason University office to share ideas on assisting the FAA in achieving NextGen goals. The February Roundtable topics included the most pressing demands on the NAS and promising early benefit areas for NextGen.

Metron Aviation assembled a diverse group with specialists in the development of CNS/ATM systems and procedures, operational concept development, operations research, human factors, safety, aircraft operations, civil and military air traffic control, airline operations control, traffic management operations, aircraft accident investigation, regulation and certification, flight standards and policy analysis. The objective of this group is to create strong NextGen momentum for the FAA with early measurable benefits.

According to Metron Aviation President, Jack Kies, "We are firm supporters of NextGen and the FAA, and success is imperative, for the good of not only the NAS, but the global aviation community."
