Metron Aviation Appoints Christopher Forshier as Director of Business Development for Global Airline Operations

Dulles, Virginia—November 9, 2010— Metron Aviation announces the appointment of Christopher Forshier as Director of Business Development for Global Airline Operations.  Prior to joining Metron Aviation, Mr. Forshier served as the Manager of Operations Strategy and Implementation for Continental Airlines.

 

Mr. Forshier has over 18 years of experience in the commercial airline industry including operations analysis and planning, customer service, ground operations and technical program management. His tenure at Continental Airlines includes lead strategist for the evaluation of NextGen technologies for the airlines operations control and flight dispatch center. He has been widely recognized for his leadership role in the successful implementation of the carrier’s commercial surface management program. Mr. Forshier was also a pioneer for the industry’s development of a surface management concept through forums such as RTCA Task Force 5 and U.S. Collaborative Decision Making (CDM).
