POET Class Overview

Overview
In this course, you will learn how to use POET to compare planned flight operations to what actually occurred, and identify what works best in the course of day-to-day operations. As well, you will learn how to analyze trends in your operation and the NAS to increase efficiency in the midst of adverse conditions.

What You Learn

  • An overview of POET data and capabilities
  • Enter or modify search criteria in POET to get the analysis results you need
  • Differentiate between an airspace-based search and a flight-based search
  • Use pre-defined Summary Reports and Summary Charts in POET
  • Analyze search results using POET's interactive tables, data miners, charts, and maps
  • Define the data POET displays in the search results
  • Create flight groups to conduct specific, in-depth analysis
  • Use the POET Map to track and replay flight activity
  • Define map overlays to maximize analysis capabilities
  • Transfer information in POET to PowerPoint
  • Use POET's report generator to create HTML reports

Class Duration
The Introductory POET class is a full day in length and will run from 9:00 - 4:00 PM. The cost of the class is $1500.00 per student. Please look at the schedule of upcoming classes and fill out a registration form if you are interested in signing up for this class. Discounts are available for groups of 7 or more.
