Analyzing airspace policy and guidelines to further NextGen

Metron Aviation supplies primary support for various governmental organizations in the area of policy development.  Metron Aviation currently provides support of the FAA’s Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCS) and the evolution of traffic management and Collaborative Decision Making (CDM).

Support is also provided in analyzing policy and guidelines for equipment, airspace, route structure and instrument procedure design, relating to the transition to NextGen and the analysis of the effects and benefits of various options presented.   Policy support also identifies regulatory impacts to our customers with the interdependencies and environmental factors along with recommendations for mitigation.

Policy support extends to the analysis of various airspace roadmap options and gaps in future planning, which allows recommendations to be made to airspace policy organizations  In this area of influence, Metron Aviation is able to uniquely meet the customer needs with superior software development, analysis capabilities and simulation environment, furthering NextGen missions and objectives.
